I’ve heard all about the best diet pills. They have this, that, clinically proven ingredients, the meanest fat burning formulas you’ve ever seen, and by the way that’s not a good thing, revolutionary, etc. But honestly speaking, the “best diet pills” are not often what they seem. Nothing comes for free, and so often they have side effects without results, definitely not the best diet pills to say the least. This being said, the best diet pills really incorporate several types of ingredients, but one in particular, the appetite suppressant. It’s a simple equation. You eat less, consumer fewer calories, you lose more weight, because you have fewer calories to burn off assuming of course you keep up the same exercise routine. This being said, you shrink your stomach over time, and if combining this with frequent small meals throughout the day, it’s really not a bad thing. The best diet pills are hard to find. But it’s not impossible to find them. It just takes some work and moreover research. And one of the most important things to see is if they are telling the ultimate truth in generalized advertising.

The Best Diet Pills
Wednesday, September 16th, 2009Good Or Bad?
Tuesday, September 15th, 2009There are so many fat burners out there. The most popular one I’ve seen lately is of course green tea, and they don’t just call their green tea products fat burners. They would never do that. Instead, they talk about them enhancing your health, lowering your cholesterol, blood pressure, etc. With green tea, it’s up in the air for me. On one point yes it will promote fat burning with its caffeine related element, and yes it will actually lower cholesterol being that it has antioxidant power. But at the same point in time, caffeine doesn’t really affect cholesterol and it definitely raises blood pressure, which is why they say that people with high blood pressure ideally shouldn’t actually use it. There are plenty of fat burners out there that I have these kinds of concerns about and so on and so forth. Green tea is just one of the more popular ones and therefore one of the easier ones to pick out and wonder about. It’s also one of the most studied, so it’s the easiest to evaluate all of those factors in greater detail. But I wonder, do the beneficial parts really counteract the bad parts. I mean nothing is completely good granted. But it’s a fine balance.
Red Robin Is Not Healthy
Monday, September 14th, 2009I love Red Robin as does my friend who has had some serious battles with obesity, and he’s only 24 years old. This being said, their bottomless steak fries are a death trap, which is why we only go and plan these trips on special occasions. If you’re going to cheat really cheat is what I say. But my favorite one, and I don’t really try to justify it by saying it’s healthy. I know that even the healthy parts are counteracted by unhealthy, and it’s best to really realize this if you are going to do it. But my favorite one is probably one of their healthier ones, especially because I get it low carb with a lettuce instead of a bun thing. But I get the teriyaki burger which has pineapple, teriyaki sauce, etc. It’s incredibly good, and I fully take advantage of the steak fries. This being said, if you have high cholesterol, even a slight jump in cholesterol is always a bad thing believe it or not. But if you have reasonable levels, just really temper yourself. Don’t fool yourself by saying anything there is healthy.
Foods WIth Bacteria
Saturday, September 12th, 2009There are various foods, some of which are good for you and some of which are not, but there are some known for having parasites. For example, there is the myth of one man trying to impress a girl with raw snails meant to be escargot. But the problem is not cooking it like that allows certain parasites to thrive that go directly to the brain and eat it away essentially speaking. Likewise, sometimes they don’t get particularly fresh fish for sushi and sashimi, which can lead to parasites. Now salmon and other fish are really good for you. You just have to be picky about the types and obviously the varieties that you pick. They can lead to tapeworm, and while that may promote weight loss at first, obviously there are other serious health problems connected to it. Another one is called steak tartare, which is basically raw meat. There was an opera singer rumored to lose a ton of weight rather suddenly because she liked to eat raw beef and got tapeworms. This could very well be true. Pink hamburger has the same problem, so you may not want to get your meat particularly raw. And finally, ham and pork sandwiches have a tendency to carry certain bacterias and otherwise.
Decieving Foods
Friday, September 11th, 2009Sometimes I like to trick myself. I like to think that certain foods are healthier than they are, and quite frankly it makes me sad sometimes. But that being said, I know better to a certain degree, and it’s my job to correct my own bad habits. Before I dropped soda all together, I was a bit fan of diet sodas. After all, especially with Coke 0, how can you really get better. Alcohol is the same way with Bacardi 0. But anyway, basically what they do is they replace the sugar with all these artificial sugars that actually sabotage your body and make it not work the way it should in response to sugars in general. Likewise, fruit cocktails are horrible. You have to look for pure 100% juice! Fruit juice is high in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, etc. But fruit cocktails are not. They are packed with sugar and maybe 10% juice, which is never a good thing keep in mind. Likewise, unless you are getting extremely low fat cottage cheese, cottage cheese is really bad for you. And finally flavored yogurts are not good for you. Plain yogurt is great. You can mix your own fruits in there. But ya, and likewise reduced fat peanut butter not good. The sugar free kind, I forget what the name is actually, is good, but not the low fat.
Fighting Dehydration
Wednesday, September 9th, 2009Frankly, a big problem in this country as well as around the world is dehydration. Most of us are chronically dehydrates, and many have blamed this for obesity rates, because quite frankly water acts as a natural appetite suppressant, and so often we actually think we’re hungry when we are in all reality thirsty. This being said, changes in environment can contribute, while most of the time we just don’t drink enough even for cool days. Most of our body mass is made up of water, so you definitely don’t want to let it drop too far to say the least. One of the easiest ways to tell if you are dehydrated is to check your pee. Pee in a hydrated person should actually be clear. In addition, dry skin can easily denote chronic dehydration. Obesity can easily be a sign as many don’t drink enough and then mistake thirst for actually hunger. Dehydration is obviously a bigger problem for those in desert areas where they often don’t have a ready supply even available to them. But just because it’s available doesn’t mean that more people will drink it, which is why so many suffer from the signs and symptoms. It can also cause general fatigue among other things. So it’s definitely something to watch out for.
Salsa For Health
Tuesday, September 8th, 2009Salsa is not one of my favorite foods. I don’t like tomatoes, I don’t like the onions they mix in with them. I like these foods in the right context of course. But when they are the only elements, it doesn’t appeal to me. But the rest of my family likes to put them on their omelets and so on and so forth. Frankly, tomatoes are healthy for the heart, rich in vitamins, rich in lycopene, a powerful antioxidant, etc. True Mexican salsas leave it raw, therefore keeping in many nutrients while American salsas are generally cooked. But of course the best way is to actually make your own. They also tend to have chili peppers, which can create a thermogenic effect in the body and relieve inflammation, rheumatoid arthritis, etc. But you should keep in mind it could aggravate heartburn or GERD. For all these ingredients as well as other ingredients generally included, salsa is extremely low in calories while being high in vitamins and minerals. So it’s definitely something you can combine with other foods and something healthy to consider, especially if you are looking for a snack that will nonetheless help you to lose more weight in general terms.
Doggy Diet Pills
Tuesday, September 8th, 2009I know that we make diet pills for humans, but for dogs? Come on. I mean I’ve seen those that have a higher tendency toward it. Frankly I see a dog and then you see the parent, and you see why. But it’s not all that. Yes, my dog has a tendency to want to overeat, and even after I’ve fed him the proper amount that I know keeps him lean, but with enough fat to really sustain him well, he still licks the bowl, comes back to me for more, and acts like he is literally starving. I don’t give in, because he doesn’t need it! But ultimately, as the caretaker, you have control over what your dog eats just as you have control over what your child eats. Children don’t need diet pills and really should never have them. Likewise, dogs really don’t need diet pills, it’s a simple fact of life. Some caretakers also have no backyard and choose not to take them out on walks or otherwise allow them to get a good amount of exercise, which really doesn’t help that particular problem. Just like us, dogs are susceptible to greater diseases and joint problems when they become obese, some worse than others. But they aren’t going to grow fat in general if you keep control over it. If you are maintaining good foods, keeping their food in moderation, and exercising them on a regular basis, it will keep it under control, period, end of story. And quite frankly, this may even help you to keep your own weight under control.
Cardio In Jump Rope
Monday, September 7th, 2009There have been some that have used jump ropes to lose weight. It makes sense, it creates a certain amount of cardio while requiring some muscle to make certain jumps, as well as coordination. I used to be really good at it when I was a kid, and that was our main recess activity in the summer, that and over the wall and trying to get the metal swings to actually go over the swing set in a full circle. I actually got really close a few times, not quite making it I think because they had some kind of built in restrictions at the top and I got scared. That being said, a lot of people use childhood things like this. They also use trampolines, but mini trampolines generally speaking. It’s no miracle exercise or diet plan. But it can definitely be fun, and you really get yourself going. Now with jumping rope, it’s not nearly as easy as you think, and honestly I’m pretty sure I had more muscle tone and energy as a kid. But as with any exercise, you have to build up your endurance and other levels for proper exercise, and in the meantime you should really supplement in other exercises to get up to at least 30 minutes of regular cardio.
Healthy Condiments
Saturday, September 5th, 2009Healthy condiments, that never makes sense right? Well apparently there are healthy condiments that you can use, and quite frankly most humans have used it to spice up or season up their food anyway. There are certain ones that can apparently make you feel full sooner or at least perceive it sooner, and they have developed these into a kind they sell that are apparently supposed to suppress your appetite more effectively when added to any food. They have various flavors now, and frankly they charge a lot. But you can get the same effects from many common condiments while being fairly healthy. They aren’t as low calorie as some of the scientifically developed options. But oh well right. For example, hot sauce can create a thermogenic effect in the body if you use cayenne especially. Honey is a natural sweetener with fewer calories that can be more easily processed. Mustard is an alternative commonly to mayonnaise and is healthier in general, and soy sauce of course is low in calories and fat and it has soy isoflavones, which are good for the body. And finally salsa often has some vegetables, fruits, and other healthy foods as a whole that can add to your positive weight loss efforts.
